This page explains what personal information MarketBaro collects and how it is used, stored, and shared.
1. Information We Collect
The Service collects: your email address (for account creation and login); access logs (IP addresses are stored as a hash, never in plain text); cookies/local storage (for language preference and login session); and, if you subscribe to notifications via Telegram, your Telegram chat ID.
2. Purpose of Collection
We use this information to authenticate accounts and maintain login sessions, provide personalized features such as holdings tracking, prevent abuse and analyze traffic, and send Telegram/email notifications.
3. Retention Period
Information is deleted without undue delay upon account deletion, except where retention is required by law, in which case it is kept for the required period.
Access logs are kept for up to one year from collection, then deleted.
4. Third-Party Sharing and Processing
We do not sell personal information. To operate the Service, we share information with, or entrust processing to: Cloudflare (content delivery and security), our email delivery provider (login links and notification emails), and Telegram, X (Twitter), and Threads (Meta) (notification APIs, used only if you have subscribed to or connected these channels yourself).
5. Cookies
The Service uses cookies/local storage to maintain login sessions and language preference. You may refuse cookies in your browser settings, but this may limit some features such as staying logged in.
6. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. We do not yet offer self-service account deletion; please email us to request deletion or account closure (self-service deletion from the account page is planned for the future). We will process requests without undue delay.
7. Security Measures
Passwords are stored as hashes, and IP addresses are stored only as hashes, never in a form that directly identifies an individual.
